I have a huge problem with yoga tights. Mostly because I don't feel comfortable wearing them in public. While in the confines of my yoga studio or spin class, I'm fine. Walking to the train, not so fine. But I am determined to be ready for a bikini by the end of May, so bring on the tights. In lots of colors and patterns. As long as they make my ass look good...

I am an over-plucker. I have been for years. It's gotten to the point where my eyebrows don't even grow in certain spots anymore because I have over-plucked the life right out of the hair follicle. I've decided that it's time to fix the brows. And the only way to do that is to let them grow out, in all their crazy, hideousness, and then go to a professional and beg their forgiveness. And pray for an amazing (and affordable) brow corrector...

Spring has inspired some major changes in my beauty routine (I recently started wearing eyeliner!) so I am pretty stoked to fix the brows! What's next?

Out On The Road

It occurred to me on my walk to work that rain boots have come a long way. Yes, I think about the weirdest shit when I am walking to work. When I first moved to the city I didn't truly appreciate the virtues of the rain boot. It was only after too many work days with soggy socks that I decided they were an integral part of life in the city. They were the UGLIEST pair of boots I ever owned and they didn't last long. Thank God. Now I've found my self a delightful pair of navy Tretorn rain boots that I wear with pride. They're still not as cute as some of the options I've found recently, but they're a vast improvement to the first pair.
