And the Golden Globe goes to...

Curled up on my couch last night to watch the parade of fashions across the red carpet at the 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards was just magnificent! There were some winners and some unfortunate losers. Once again Ricky Gervais was hilarious and the show was overall entertaining!! I am very much looking forward to some movie time before the Oscars in February!

The Fashion Winners:
(In no particular order...)

Diane Lane in Dolce & Gabbana...
A goddess in nude. But not really... She took my breath away!! The hair. The dress. Her MAN (meeeeow Josh Brolin)! She looked amazing.

Charlize Theron in Dior Haute Couture...
I have no idea how, but time and time again this woman manages to top herself! She is class. She is style. She is beauty.

Helen Miren in Badgley Mischka...
Classic and elegant, she absolutely nailed it in this dress.

Julie Bowen in Reem Acra...
I've got a fever and the only thing that can cure it is this blush dress!!! The sparkly cap sleeves are a perfect detail to add elegance to an otherwise simple dress.

Claire Danes in J. Mendel...
The lines to this dress are simple but chic. The back was to die for and the red lip was the perfect accessory! (PS: her speech was amazing! All hail Angela Chase!!)

Laura Dern in Andrew Gn...
She was a winner in more ways than one! The color, perfect. The neckline, um PERFECT! And her hair, naturally perfect! And I suppose the cherry on top of her Golden Globe sundae, she won!

Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji...
She hit it outta the park! For a curvy figure this dress hugged all the right places. And this shade of lavender is perfect for a woman of color! She looked simply beautiful.

Salma Hayek in Gucci...
Ay caramba!! From head to toe she looked amazing...brava!!

The Ultimate Winners:
(In no particular order...)

Evan Rachel Wood in Gucci...
This woman clearly avoids the sun like the plague, which is exactly why this dress was perfection! The emerald color against her snow white skin made the whole look flawless. And her hair? Simple, but fantastic!!

Emma Stone in Lanvin...
Do you hear the choir of redheaded angels singing? They're singing at the top of their lungs for this merlot colored Lanvin gown and the sassy redhead in it! How can you not love her?!!!!!

The Unfortunate Losers...
(In no particular order...)

Sarah Michelle Gellar in Monique Lhuillier...
HollywoodLife.com is reporting that Gellar's two-year-old daughter picked out this dress, clearly. It's not the style of the dress I am so opposed to, as it is the print. Not only does it look like the two-year-old picked it out, but painted it as well.

Piper Perabo in Theory...
There's always one in the bunch. The see through dress. And it's still not stylish...

Lea Michele in Marchesa...
I don't understand her, I really don't. She is a charming, beautiful, TALENTED woman and yet she dressed like a hooker! Hate the dress. Hate the color. Hate just about everything.

The Ultimate Loser...

Elle MacPherson in Zac Posen...
This breaks my heart because I LOVE Zac Posen as a designer. But I am not a fan of this dress. Hate the color, most of all, but the top of the dress?! Oh the horror!
